We've made several improvements to EveryDollar to make budgeting easier, especially if you're just getting started. New users will now see a guided walkthrough with recommended amounts for each budget category, a zero-based budget progress bar, and helpful coaching screens so setting up your first budget feels less like guesswork. We also fixed a few things that were tripping people up: a glitch that showed a red negative zero when you'd spent exactly what you planned, a bug where applying extra margin to a debt payoff goal wasn't sticking, and an issue where the goal progress bar wasn't updating correctly for users with debts. On top of that, you'll see more accurate payoff timelines when putting your margin to work toward a goal. Update to the latest version and jump in to see what's new. Happy budgeting!
